While Student life is about lectures, assignments and deadlines, it’s also about sharing a meal, catching up with friends, meeting new people and enjoying the moments in between. At MSA, dining and social spaces bring people together in the campus environment. With a welcoming Dining Hall, poolside Terrace Bistro dining area and a Private Family Celebration Area, to informal spaces for conversation and downtime, there are places to eat, unwind and enjoy time with others as part of everyday campus life.

Explore Campus Life

The Terrace Bistro features an open-plan dining area with views across the pool, creating a welcoming setting for everyday dining and special occasions. With a flexible layout and a role as a social hub for the wider campus community, it offers a space for students to share meals, catch up with friends and enjoy time together.

Some of the best parts of student life happen spontaneously. MSA’s informal breakout areas and lounge spaces offer room for these everyday moments. Use them to catch up with friends, spend time between activities or get together for a study group in a setting outside your room. These shared spaces make it easier to connect with others and enjoy the social side of campus living.

MSA’s dining spaces can also provide a setting for special occasions, private functions and celebrations. The Terrace Bistro offers flexible space for private event hire, while the dedicated family celebration area gives students and their families a place to come together for meaningful occasions. From family visits to celebrations worth remembering, these spaces offer another way to enjoy community on campus.

Enjoy the freedom and flexibility of preparing your own meals. MSA’s fully equipped self-catering kitchens support independent living, giving students a practical space to cook, follow their own routines and make themselves at home. Whether you’re preparing breakfast before a busy day, making dinner after lectures or putting together a meal to enjoy with friends, the kitchens offer flexibility as you settle into campus life.

Student life can be busy, so having everyday essentials close at hand can make a real difference. As part of the planned campus additions for 2027, MSA intends to introduce an on-site convenience store to make accessing essential items easier for students. The planned store will add another layer of convenience to campus living, helping students spend less time travelling for everyday necessities and more time focusing on their studies, routines and campus experience.
